The Burka Estate sits at the foot of Mount Meru in Tanzania's renowned Arusha coffee region, where the combination of high altitude, fertile volcanic soils, and a unique microclimate creates ideal conditions for producing exceptional coffees. Grown between 1,600 and 1,800 metres above sea level, this lot benefits from the slow development that comes with higher elevations, allowing the cherries to develop a depth of sweetness and complexity.
 
Carefully processed through the washed method at the Burka Wet Mill, this coffee reflects the precision and expertise that has long been associated with the region. The Compact and Ruiru 39 varietals contribute to a clean and expressive cup profile, highlighting the bright, elegant characteristics found in Tanzanian coffees.
