Fugi washing station is named after the hill upon which it stands. The station is located at 1,550 meters above sea level. Our in-country partner, Baho Coffee, purchased the station in 2016. Since then, Baho’s team of agronomist station managers have been working with farmers to learn Best Agricultural Practices, improve farmers’ access to inputs and produce the best cherry possible.
Some of our lots from Fugi are traceable to farmers from specific hills. This includes Nyakizu and Kiyonza hills.
